HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 97-114 final plat twin peaks subdivisionMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 97-114 ARESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, APPROVING THE TWIN PEAKS SUBDMSION FINAL PLAT SUBMITTED BY MEYERS DEVELOPME3NT CORPORATION FOR A 78 LOT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED MANUFACTLrRF. D HOME SUBDMSION ON 22.91 ACRES LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST PORTION OF SCENIC DRIVE AND SILVERBELL ROAD IN THE PIMA FARMS NORTH SPECIFIC PLAN AREA IN A PORTION OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 12 SOUTH~ RANGE 12 EAST. WHEREAS, the Town ufMarana has previously approved the specific plan for the area known as Pirna Farms North Specific Plan, located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Mararia, Arizona; and WHEREAS, Meyers Development Corporation of Tucson is the owner of property located on the south side of Silverbell Road, east of Scenic Drive, in a portion of Section 20, Township 12 South, Range 12 East, and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a final plat for 78 lots, for single family manufactured homes on 22.91 acres; and WHEREAS, the final plat was presented to the Mararm Planning Commission on September 24, 1997, and the Planning Commission recommended 54) that the Town Council approve the final plat; and WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council heard fi'om the representative of the owner, staff, and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held November 18, 1997, and has determined that the final plat map submitted by Meyers Development Corporation of Tucson should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana that the final plat submitted by Meyers Development Corporation and known as the Twin Peaks Subdivision for a 78 lot single family detached manufactured home subdivision on 22.91 acres and located on the south side of Silverbell Road, east of Scenic Road, in a portion of Section 20, Township 12 South Range 12 East, be approved.
