WHEREAS, the Town of Marana entered into an Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement with Pima County for Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnership Program (Home Program) purposes on May 23, 1995, by Resolution No. 95-30; and WHEREAS, the Town of Marana adopted Program Regulations for the Home Program on November 21, 1995, by Resolution No. 95-64; and WHEREAS, the Town of Marana amended Section 3.3 of the Home Program Regulations regarding financing requirements of the program regulations of the Home Investment Partnership Program of the Town of Marana, and repealed all conflicting regulations thereof on April 15, 1997, by Resolution No. 9%30; and WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Marana renewed the Intergovernmental Agreement with Pima County providing for the Town's continued participation in a joint housing program utilizing fund8 from the State of Arizona home housing and trust fund on June 17, 1997, by Resolution No. 97-53; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Town Council to approve the sale of homes pursuant to the Home Program, and it is in the best interests of those in need of safe and sanitary low cost housing that the Town Council approve said sales; and WI-tEP,.EAS, said homes are located at the addresses set out in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and WHEREAS, the amount of Home Program funds provided to a home buyer will be dependent upon the financing terms provided by a financial institution that are acceptable to the Town and the home buyer. NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that the sale of the three homes located at the locations described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, are approved. - Mararia, Axlz~na Resolution No, 97-96 1.068h PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this 7* day of October, 1997.
