AGENDA TITLE: Resolution No. 2005-75: Relating to Subdivisions; acceptance of
public improvements for maintenance for Phase I of Gladden
Farms
DISCUSSION
Approval of this resolution will allow the Town of Marana to accept for maintenance, including
regulatory traffic control signs and street signs, approximately 1,18 miles of the following paved
streets constructed by Gladden Farms, LLC,
. Lon Adams Road
. Gladden Farms Drive
As the assurances for Gladden Farms include phases II, III, and IV final release of assurances
will not occur at this time, The blocks served by the phase I infrastructure will be partially
released administratively,

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends acceptance of the streets of Gladden Farms Phase I for maintenance,
SUGGESTED MOTION
I move to approve Resolution No, 2005-75,
MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2005-75
RELATING TO SUBDIVISIONS; ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR
MAINTENANCE FOR PHASE I OF GLADDEN FARMS.
WHEREAS, Gladden Farms is a collection of subdivisions located South of Moore Road,
East of Honea Heights, and North of the Santa Cruz River containing blocks 1-25 and Common
Areas A-F, and is recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office in Book 55 of Maps and Plats,
Page; and
WHEREAS, the Town has previously entered into an Assurance Agreement with
Gladden Farms, L.L.C., (beneficiary) under Trust No. 30,212 and Fidelity National Title Agency,
(trustee), recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office at Docket 11742, Page 2824, assuring
the completion of public improvements; and
WHEREAS, Gladden Farms, L.L.C., has completed the public improvements acceptable
to Town standards in accordance with the Assurance Agreement for Phase I of Gladden Farms;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana as follows:
Section 1. Gladden Farms, blocks 3 through 6 and blocks 10 through 12 will be
released from the Assurance Agreement with Gladden Farms, L.L.C. under Trust No. 30,212,
and Fidelity National Title Agency.
Section 2. The Town accepts for maintenance, including maintenance of regulatory
traffic control and street signs, 1.18 miles of paved streets for the following appurtenances, as
depicted on Exhibit A:
a. N. Lon Adams Drive
b. Gladden Farms Drive
