A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARAN& ARIZONA,
APPROVING THE TWIN PEAKS SUBDMSION PRELIMINARY PLAT SU'BM1TTED BY
MEYER'S DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF 78 SINGLE
FAMILY DETACHg. D MANUFACTURgD HOME LOTS ON 22.91 ACRES LOCATED AT THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SCENIC DRIVE AND SILVERBELL ROAD.
WHEREAS, the Town of Marana has previously approved the specific plan for the area
known as Pima Farms North, located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana,
Arizona; and
WHEREAS, Meyer's Development Corporation is the owner of property located within the
Pima Farms North Specific Plan, at the southwest comer of Scenic Drive and Silverbell Road, and
more particularly within a portion of Section 20, Township 12 South, Range 12 East Gila and Salt
River Meridian, Pima County, Arizona, and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a
preliminary plat for 78 single family detached manufactured home lots on 22.91 acres; and
WHEREAS, the preliminary plat was presented to the Marana Planning Commission on July
30, 1997, and the Planning Commission recommended 4-1 that the Town Council approve the
preliminary plat; and
WHEREAS, the Mararia Town Council heard ~om the representative of the owner, staff, and
members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held September 16, 1997, and has
determined that the preliminary plat map submitted by Meyer's Development Corporation should be
approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana
that the preliminary plat map for 78 single family detached manufactured home lots on 22.91 acres
submitted by Meyer's Development Corporation and located at the southwest comer of Scenic Drive
and Silverbell Road, and more particularly within a portion of Section 20, Township 12 South, Range
12 East Gila and Salt River Meridian, Pima County, Arizona be approved.
