HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2006-116 ratifying design approval for silverbell office/retail MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2006-116 RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; RATIFYING DESIGN APPROV AL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT KNOWN AS SIL VERBELL OFFICE/RETAIL WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved and adopted the overlay district for the Silverbell Road Corridor Overlay District on December 16, 2003 (Ordinance No. 2003.27), located within the corporate boundaries ofthe Town of Marana, Arizona; and WHEREAS, J Silverbell Properties, L.L.C., the owner of approximately 1.5 acres in Continental Ranch generally located on the south side of Silverbell Road, east of the intersection of Silverbell Road and Coachline Boulevard/Continental Reserve Loop, adjacent to the Picture Rocks Wash; located within the Silverbell Road Corridor Overlay District, has applied to the Town of Maran a for design review approval for an office and retail center; and WHEREAS, the Manager's Design Review Committee met on July 19, 2006, and recommended Silverbell Office/Retail; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have considered the application at the regular Town Council meeting held August 1, 2006, and has determined that the recommendation with conditions by the Silverbell Road Corridor Overlay District Manager's Design Review Committee for Silverbell Office/Retail should be ratified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that the recommendation with conditions of the Manager's Design Review Committee regarding the design for Silvebell/Office Retail, submitted by Sayler-Brown Bolduc Lara Architects, L.L.C., is hereby ratified.
