MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2006-120
RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A PRELIMINARY
PLAT FOR RICHMOND MARANA AT TOWN CENTER, LOTS I - 262.
WHEREAS, Richmond American, the owner of Richmond Marana at Town Center, has
applied for approval of a preliminary plat for 262 single-family detached homes on 41.79 acres
comprising lots I through 262, Common Areas "A" (Landscape/Open
Space/Drainage/Street/Alley), "B" (Landscape/Open Space), "C", "D", "E" (Landscape/Open
Space/Drainage), "F" (Landscape/Open Space/Drainage/Alley), "G" (Landscape/Open
Space/Drainage), and "H"-"M" (Landscape/Open Space), "N" (Landscape/Open
Space/Drainage), "0" (Landscape/Open Space/Drainage/Alley) and "P" (Landscape/Open
Space/Drainage) and is generally located either side of Marana Main Street, south of Grier
Road and north of Barnett Road in a portion of Section 27, Township 11 South, Range 11
East; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council, at their regular meeting on August 1, 2006, has
determined that the Richmond Marana Town Center Preliminary Plat should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana,
Arizona that Richmond Marana Town Center Preliminary Plat, a 262-lot residential subdivision
generally located either side of Marana Main Street, south of Grier Road and north of Barnett
Road in a portion of Section 27, Township 11 South, Range 11 East, is hereby approved with
the following condition:
1. Approval of the preliminary plat from EI Paso Natural Gas.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona,
this 1 st day of August, 2006. ~
