Doug Mostyn stated he did not wish to act on this matter until the full Council was present. The Town Manager explained the matter was placed on the agenda because the dealer needed immediate assurance the Town would purchase the vehicles because they were being transported from Vermont. He said since the agenda was posted another entity purchased these vehicles and the matter of purchasing vehicles for the Police Department can be placed on the May 7 agenda. The motion carried. Announcements Doug Mostyn announced that volunteers are needed Day preparations. for Founder's VIII, Or~.r o~f Business. ~ Agreement b_22 Mutual Conseqt Between Town of Marana and Lynn K~. R~doliffe~ Dated April 23, 1991. A motion was made by 30 Rex and seconded by Doug Mostyn that the Agreement between the Town of Marana and Lynn Radcliffe, dated April 23, 1991, be approved. The motion carried with Jo Rex, Doug Mostyn, David Morales and Mayor Ora Ham voting "Aye," and Vice Mayor Bob McCrea voting "Nay." %X~ Future Agenda Items A motion was made by Doug Mostyn, seconded by that 8ob McCrea's request for discussion Marana" be placed on the next Council agenda. Jo Rex and carried of "Recycling in David Morales said new water lines are going to be installed in Honea Heights, and he feels that fire hydrants should be put in whether or not they can be used at the time the lines are installed. Mayor Ham stated there is not enough water pressure at this location for fire hydrants. The Town Manager said this is a replacement of an existing line. He stated that the Town does have a code that requires installation of hydramts at strategic locations when there is development of new water lines. He suggested that in the future the Council might want to establish an ordinance that would mandate installation of fire hydrants on any new or replacement lines they construct if there is sufficient water pressure. The Mayor will check the cost of installing hydrants at the Honea Heights line replacement location. X. Adjournmen~t A motion was made by Doug Mostyn, seconded by David Morales carried that the meeting be adjourned at 7:17 p.m. and CERTIFICATION I hereby certify that the foregoing minutes are a true and correct copy of the minutes of the special meeting of the Town Council of Marana held on the 30th day of April, 1991.
