Subject: Presentation Relating to Streets; a presentation on the current conceptual design for
Tangerine Road
Discussion:
Tangerine Road, from I -10 to La Cafiada Drive in Oro Valley is a RTA roadway element
spanning Marana, Pima County and Oro Valley. Marana is the lead agency on a Design Concept
Report (DCR) to determine constraints, preliminary designs, implementation schedule and costs
for the project. Pima County and Oro Valley are active stakeholder participants.
Tonight, staff and our consultant, Psornas, will be giving a presentation on where we are in the
DCR process. Staff would like to discuss and receive feedback on the character of the road,
which will determine design elements moving forward such as posted speed limits and curbing of
medians.

perspective.
Suggested Motion:
I move that staff continue with the design of Tangerine Road as presented with modifications as
discussed.
