A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA, DECLARING AND ADOPTING THE RESULTS OF THE PRIMARY ELECTION
HELD ON MARCH 14, 1995, AND ORDERING THE RECORDING OF SUCH
RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, by Resolution
No. 94 -30, adopted on the 15th day of November, 1994, did cause to be submitted to the
qualified electors of the Town at a primary election called and held in and for the Town on the
14th day of March, 1995 for the nomination/election of three Council members; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council did cause notice of the primary election to be given by
the Town Clerk, publishing notice thereof in the Daily Territorial newspaper as provided by law,
such newspaper published in and having general circulation within ` said Town, which said notice
as so published did specify the place whereat such election was to be held, and the candidates
to be voted upon, a copy of said notice with the affidavit of publication attached thereto, being
now on file and a part of the official records of the Town Council of said Town; and
WHEREAS, the election returns have been presented to and have been canvassed by the
Town Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona, as follows:
1. The total number of ballots cast at said primary election, as shown by the poll lists, was
729.
2. The number of ballots to be verified was 14, and the voters found to be ineligible were
0.
3. The votes cast for the candidates for Council member were as follows:
Phyllis M. Farenga 205 votes Will proceed to the general election
Bill Gordon 217 votes Will proceed to the general election
Ed Honea 253 votes Will proceed to the general election
E.A. "Betty" Horrigan 197 votes
Robert P. McCrea 106 votes
Cheryl "Sherry" J. Millner 367 votes Elected with more than 50% of the vote at primary
Billy W. Schisler 147 votes
Bobby Sutton, Jr. 328 votes Will proceed to the general election

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona,
this 21st day of March, 1995.
