Project Name: Ora Mae Harn Dog Park
Project Status /Details:
• As part of the 2011 budget process, funds were allocated to construct a dog
park in Ora Mae Harn Park.
• The dog park will be located along the south edge of the dirt parking lot off N.
Lon Adams.
• The park is planned to be approximately 20,000 square feet, fenced, and feature
benches, trees, play amenities. Both turfgrass and decomposed granite areas
will be provided.
• Construction on the park resumes March 19. Completion April 30. Grass grow in
May -June 15. Park opening June 18.

Construction Activity
Project Name: Tortolita Mountain Trails — Wild Burro Trailhead
Project Status /Details:
• The Wild Burro Trailhead opened to the public in October 2011 and was dedicat-
ed at a Grand Opening Ceremony February 11, 2012.
• It features permeable paving, restrooms, ramada, equestrian staging, and park-
ing for 60 automobiles and 10 trucks and trailers.
• Trail users are greeted by two large stone landmarks as they come and go to and
from the trailhead. The landmarks were created by local artist Robin Riley.
• Hikers are able to access Pima County's 4,100 acre Tortolita Mountain Park by the
trails that leave from the trailhead.
• Currently, the Town of Marana trail crew is building the Ridgeline Trail, 7.4 miles
of mufti-use trail above Ruelas Canyon including a 1.8 mile Connector Loop back
to the northern end of Wild Burro Canyon.
• Construction is expected to continue through 2013 and is funded by Pima County
Bond Funds.
Project Name: Santa Cruz Shared -Use Path behind Continental Ranch
Project Status /Details:
• In January 2012, the Town of Marana began construction on its Santa Cruz River
Shared -Use Path behind Continental Ranch connecting the existing path at Coy-
ote Trails Elementary School to Cortaro Farms Road.
• The asphalt path is 14' wide and .75 miles long and constructed by Southern Ari-
zona Paving.
• Two pedestrian bridges required to cross drainage channels emptying into the
Santa Cruz River were partially financed with Pima County Bond Funds at
$200,000.
• Bridges were placed in March 2012.
• The project is scheduled for completion April 2012 and funded
by Town of Marana Park Impact Fees and the Pima County Bond

Project Name: Ora Mae Harn Park /Marana Pool Improvements
Project Status /Details:
• A shade structure at Marana Pool and the east porch roof of the Community Cen-
ter has been demolished and reconstructed using Park Maintenance team mem-
bers and inmate labor.
• CDC Pools have been awarded a contract to re- plaster and tile the Marana Pool.
• The project includes new pool lights, ladders, and an ADA compliant pool lift.
• Work is scheduled for March and April.
Project Name: Collings Foundation Wings of Freedom Tour
Project Status /Details:
• The Collings Foundation Wings of Freedom Tour will be stopping at the Marana
Regional Airport April 20 -22.
• Walk through times for the aircraft are: April 20, 2p.m.- 5p.m., April 21, 9a.m.-
5p.m., April 22, 9a.m. -5p.m.
• The Collings Foundation is a non - profit educational foundation devoted to organ-
izing living history events that allow people to learn more about their heritage
and history through direct participation.

Project name: Encantada at Dove Mountain
Project Status /Details:
• HSL Properties is proposing a 19 building apartment complex to be located on the
northwest corner of Tangerine Road and Camino De Oeste, adjacent to the Pre-
serve IV at Dove Mountain. The project is located within the Dove Mountain Spe-
cific Plan and has a land use designation of "MUC" Mixed Use Commercial.
• The project will be gated and proposes 272 units (102 - 1 bedroom units, 136 — 2
bedroom units and 34 — 3 bedroom units) on approximately 19.94 acres. Approxi-
mately 2.04 acres of Natural Undisturbed Open Space will be incorporated within
the plan.
• The upscale complex will feature a pool, workout facility, media room, and chil-
dren's play area. Buildings will be stucco with stone veneer accents and finished
with concrete tile roofs. The color palate will be desert tones that compliment the
surrounding Sonoran desert.
• The project is currently in its first review and comments are due to the applicant on
March 13, 2012.
