AGENDA TITLE: Resolution No. 2006-154: Relating to Subdivisions; approving a
release of assurances for Amber Crest Continental Reserve Block
17 and acceptance of public improvements for maintenance.
DISCUSSION
Approval of Resolution No. 2006-154 will release the Assurance Agreement between GMAC
Model Home Finance Corporation, a Virginia Corporation, U.S. Home Corporation, a Delaware
corporation under Trust No. 853 and Trust No. 816 and Title Security, Agency of Arizona., an
Arizona Corporation, and the Town of Marana, regarding Amber Crest Continental Reserve
Block 17 as depicted on Exhibit A. Amber Crest Continental Reserve Block 17 is comprised of
lots 1 through 123 and Common Areas 'B', 'D' and 'E'.
In releasing said Assurance Agreement, the Town of Marana will accept for maintenance,
including regulatory traffic control signs and street signs, approximately 1.09 miles of the
following paved streets:
. Faded Leaf Drive
. Lost Bird Drive
. Autumn Gold Court
. Fallen Petal Drive
. High Branch Drive
. New Season Drive
. Lone Flower Drive

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Mayor and Council release the Assurances for Amber Crest Continental
Reserve Block 17 and accept the public improvements for maintenance.

Amber Crest Continental Reserve Block 17 Full Release
MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2006-154
RELATING TO SUBDIVISIONS; APPROVING A RELEASE OF ASSURANCES FOR
AMBER CREST CONTINENTAL RESERVE BLOCK 17 AND ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS FOR MAINTENANCE.
WHEREAS, Amber Crest is a 34.23 acre subdivision located on Continental Reserve
Loop Road, west of Silverbell Road, containing lots 1-123, and common areas 'B' ,'D', and 'E'
and is recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office in Book 59 of Maps and Plats, Page 12;
and
WHEREAS, the Town has previously entered into an Assurance Agreement with GMAC
Model Home Finance, a Virginia Corporation, U.S. Home Corporation, a Delaware Corporation
and Title Security Agency of Arizona (beneficiary), an Arizona corporation, (trustee), under
Trust No. 853 and Trust No. 816 recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office at Docket
12486, Page 932, assuring the completion of public improvements; and
WHEREAS, U.S. Home Corporation, has completed the public improvements
acceptable to Town standards in accordance with the Assurance Agreement for Amber Crest
Continental Reserve Block 17.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana as follows:
Section 1. Amber Crest Continental Reserve Block 17 is hereby released from the
Assurance Agreement with GMAC Model Home Finance Corporation and U.S. Home
Corporation under Trust No. 853 and Trust No. 816 and Title Security Agency of Arizona.
Section 2. The Town accepts for maintenance, including maintenance of regulatory
traffic control and street signs, 1.09 miles of paved streets for the following appurtenances, as
depicted on Exhibit A:
A. Faded Leaf Drive
B. Lost Bird Drive
C. Autumn Gold Court
D. Fallen Petal Drive
E. High Branch Drive
F. New Season Drive
G. Lone Flower Drive
