The application uses the phone's GPS feature to accurately identify the location of concern and allows Town employees to update citizens on the status of their issue. The award recognizes the Town's commitment to the value of certification in the public sector and acknowledges the Town as an example of what is becoming a strong indicator of success within state and local governments. � � � �� E ��L� ��3L� • The Marana Trail Crew recently completed 3.2 miles of the Ridgeline Trail. The trail begins at the north end of the Alamo Springs Trail approximately 3.5 miles northeast of the Wild Burro Traiihead. The Ridgeline Trail follows the ridge above Canyon Pass 2.5 miles before turning north of .7 miles to join the Wild Burro Loop Trail currently under construction. The Wild Burro Loop Trail returns hikers to the Wild Burro Trail 5.4 miles from the trailhead. The trail crew has constructed about .7 miles of the Wild Burro Loop with 1 mile remaining. • Control of buffelgrass in the Tortolita Mountains along trails, roads and throughout Town. Control efforts are tracked through GIS mapping. �� ,�� • Town has begun developing a Low Impact Development (LID) Program in 2013 and has held one public meeting with industry leaders to create a workable, incentive-based program. • An interdepartmental Baseline report is being completed to track sustainable practices within Town facilities and in the community. i�
