The Council Executive Report provides a summary of the Town's performance d�ring
October 2013. The information provided is organized into sections based on elements

App, a free service that downloads to any smart phone. The application uses the phone'
GPS feature to accurately identify the location of concern and aliows Town employees t�

DESCRIPTION
From golf course to floodplain
Motorcyclist who lives at 1 1139 Tonto Basin is using our
neighborhood as his personal race track. The kids can't play
safely outside and the noise level is unnecessary. Please talk to
him or cite him but it needs to stop.

May be old; not sure.
The resident at address is new to neighborhood and races his
motorcycle on the streets. There are kids out and this guy tries
to see how fast and loud he can make this thing go from one
end to the other of the street. Concerned about children and
sanity of residents.

Marana is a town approximately 25 miles northwest of Tucson, in southeast Arizona.
Marana residents enjoy a median household income of $70,705 while the town's
unemployment rate is at 6.6 percent. Top employers in town inciude the Hunter
Contracting, Fl.Smidth Krebs and Sargent Aerospace & Defense. Marana's city
government launched the Marana Job Creation Incentive Program in January 2013,

The Town's Finance Department received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence
in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association for its FY
2012 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. The Town has received the honor five
consecutive years.
The certificate is the highest form of recognition in government accounting and
financial reporting. The award, voted on by an impartial panel, is given to recipients that
demonstrate a"spirit of full disclosure" to communicate their financial stories and motiva
users and groups to read their annual financial reports.
