complex that would include rodeo, sports, and concerts
Town of Marana Strategic Plan Update 2012 – Strategy – Develop Heritage Park
June 19, 2012 – Resolution 2012-40 – approved agreement for University of Arizona’s Drachman
Institute to develop a Master Concept Site Plan for the Marana Heritage River Park
January 22, 2013 – Drachman Institute updates Council on Master Concept Site Plan
Development
March 5, 2013 – Resolution 2013-12 – approved the Drachman Institute’s Master Concept Site
Plan and directed staff to move toward implementation
August 13, 2013 – Relating to Strategic Planning for 2014 Marana Strategic Plan Update –
consensus on developing the Marana Heritage River Park Ranch and Arena
September 10, 2013 – Staff presentation and update on Marana Heritage Park Planning Process
December 17, 2013 – Discussion, consideration and/or possible action – no action taken
January 28, 2014 – Discussion, consideration and/or possible action – continue moving forward
with project as presented.
April 15, 2014 – Presentation relating to budget for FY2015

Marana Farm Display Garden and Community Garden Areas developed
Marana Farm restroom, parking, and access engineered from Design Concept Report
