RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING A FINAL PLAT FOR TORTOLITA
VISTAS PHASE II, LOTS 23-35 40 -91 AND 151 -154, COMMON AREA "A" (PRIVATE
STREETS) AND COMMON AREA "B" (NATURAL UNDISTURBED OPEN SPACE)
LOCATED WEST OF THORNYDALE ROAD AND NORTH OF TANGERINE ROAD
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2004.26 on January 4,
2005, repealing Ordinance No. 2004.1 S, and approving the Tortolita Vistas Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2004 -174 on
January 4, 2005, repealing Resolution No. 2004 -100, and approving the Revised Tortolita Vistas
Development Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2007 -39 on
March 20, 2007 approving the final plat for Tortolita Vistas Lots 1 -22, 36-39, 92 -15 0,
Block " A ", Block "B ", and Common Areas "A" and "B "; and
WHEREAS, Engineering and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (EEC), representing
Tortolita Investments, LLC, has applied for approval of a final plat for Tortolita Vista Phase II
Lots 23-35, 40 -91, and 151-154, Common Area "A" (Private Streets) and Common Area "B"
(Natural Undisturbed Open Space), a subdivision of Bloch "B" of Tortolita Vistas Lots 1 -22,
36 -39 92 -150, Block "A ", Bloch "B ", and Common Areas "A" and "B" generally located West
of Thornydale Road and north of Tangerine Road; and
WHEREAS the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana find that this resolution is in
the best interests of the Town of Marana and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF MARANA, that the final plat for Tortolita Vista Phase II Lots 23-35, 40 -91, and
151 -154, Common Area "A" (Private Streets) and Common Area "B" (Natural Undisturbed
Open Space) is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona,
this 2nd day of June, 2015.
