RELATING TO SUBDIVISIONS; APPROVING THE CONTINENTAL RESERVE BLOCK
16A PRELIMINARY PLAT.
WHEREAS, on May 30, 1989, the Town Council adopted Ordinance 89.21, establishing
the Pima Farms Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, on February 15, 2000, the Town Council approved Resolution No. 2000-19
establishing the Continental Reserve Block Plat within the Pima Farms Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, on July 15, 2003, the Town Council approved Resolution No.2003-83
approving the lot split of Block 16 of the Continental Reserve Block Plat; and
WHEREAS, Diamond Ventures, Inc., is the owner of Continental Reserve Block 16A;
and
WHEREAS, Diamond Ventures, Inc., and Puke Homes have applied for approval of a
Preliminary Plat for 111 single family detached homes on 34.75 acres, comprising Block 16A,
and including lots 1 through 111, and common area "A"; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at their regular meeting on March 31, 2004,
voted unanimously to recommend approval of the Continental Reserve Block 16A Preliminary
Plat to the Town Council; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council, at their regular meeting on April 6, 2004 has determined
that the Continental Reserve Block 16A Preliminary Plat should be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona, that the Continental Reserve Block 16A Preliminary Plat, an 111-1ot residential
subdivision within the Continental Reserve Block Plat and generally located south of Pima
Reserve Drive and southeast of Continental Reserve Loop Road, within Sections 28 and 33,
Township 12 South, Range 12 East, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona,
this 6th day of April 2004.
