HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2020-024 Reclassifying and Designating "Air Commerce Way" Public Right-of-Way MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2020-024 RELATING TO REAL ESTATE; RECLASSIFYING AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN TOWN-OWNED LAND INTERSECTING THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF AVRA VALLEY ROAD IMMEDIATELY EAST OF THE MARANA REGIONAL AIRPORT AS PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY NAMED "AIR COMMERCE WAY" WHEREAS the Town of Marana owns certain land north of Avra Valley Road east of Marana Regional Airport legally described and depicted in the legal description and depiction attached to and incorporated by this reference into this resolution as Exhibit"A" and Exhibit"A-1" respectively (the "Subject Land"); and WHEREAS the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana find that the public interests are served by reclassifying and designating the Subject Land as Air Commerce Way public right-of-way. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, Arizona, as follows: SECTION 1. The Subject Land, being the Town-owned land legally described on Exhibit "A" and depicted on Exhibit "A-1" attached to and incorporated by this refer- ence in this resolution, is hereby reclassified and designated as public right-of-way named "Air Commerce Way." SECTION 2. The Town Engineer and town staff are hereby authorized to take all other actions and execute all other documentation necessary to carry out this resolution.
