RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR SC
RANCH LOTS 1-54, COMMON AREAS "A" (RECREATION AND DRAINAGE) AND
"B" (LANDSCAPE, DRAINAGE AND UTILITIES) LOCATED GENERALLY AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF SANDERS AND MOORE ROADS.
WHEREAS Marum & Associates Engineering LLC, on behalf of LGI Homes
Arizona, LLC, has applied for approval of a preliminary plat for a 54-lot single-family
residential home subdivision located generally at the northeast corner of Sanders and
Moore Roads; and
WHEREAS on March 7, 2006, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance
No. 2003.19, approving a rezoning of the site to Neighborhood Commercial (NC); and
WHEREAS on April 29, 2020, the Planning Commission unanimously voted 6-0
to recommend approval of the preliminary plat for SC Ranch to the Town Council; and
WHEREAS the Marana Town Council, at the regularly scheduled meeting on
May 19, 2020, determined that the preliminary plat for SC Ranch should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town
of Marana, Arizona, that the preliminary plat for SC Ranch Lots 1-54, Common Areas
"A" and "B" is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana,
Arizona, this 19th day of May, 2020.
