HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2020-047 Approving Final Plat for Moonlight Canyon at Saguaro Ranch Phase 2, Lots 1-38, Blk 1, Comm A, C-1 & C-2 MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2020-047 RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING A FINAL PLAT FOR MOONLIGHT CANYON AT SAGUARO RANCH, PHASE 2, LOTS 1-38, BLOCK 1, AND COMMON AREAS"A", "C-1", AND "C-2" LOCATED APPROXIMATELY ONE MILE NORTH OF THE NORTH TERMINUS OF THORNYDALE ROAD WHEREAS the Saguaro Ranch Specific Plan, a minor amendment to the Marana General Plan, and the Amended and Restated Saguaro Ranch Pre-Annexation and Development Agreement were approved by the Marana Town Council on August 4, 2015 by the adoption of Ordinance No. 2015.016; and WHEREAS an Administrative Change to the Saguaro Ranch Specific Plan allowing the addition of Transfer Parcels into the Plan was approved by the Marana Development Services Director on June 21, 2019; and WHEREAS Rick Engineering Company, Inc., representing the property owners, has applied for approval of the Final Plat for Moonlight Canyon at Saguaro Ranch, Phase 2, Lots 1-38, Block 1, and Common Area "A", "C-1", and "C-2", consisting of 65.39 acres and located approximately one mile north of the north terminus of Thornydale Road; and WHEREAS the Mayor and Town Council, at its May 19, 2020 meeting, determined that the Final Plat for Moonlight Canyon at Saguaro Ranch, Phase 2, should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA that the Final Plat for Moonlight Canyon at Saguaro Ranch, Phase 2, Lots 1-38, Block 1, and Common Areas "A", "C-1", and "C-2" is hereby approved.
