HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2021-016 Approving a Preliminary Plat for Gladden Farms Blk 31 & 33 MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2021-016 RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR GLADDEN FARMS BLOCKS 31 & 33 LOTS 1-235, COMMON AREAS A-1 - A-11 (LANDSCAPE, UTILITIES, DRAINAGE AND GRADING), B-1 - B-5 (RECREATION, LANDSCAPE,UTILITIES,DRAINAGE AND GRADING)LOCATED SOUTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF MOORE ROAD AND MIKE ETTER BOULEVARD. WHEREAS, on March 7, 2006, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2006.03, approving a rezoning to create the Gladden Farms II Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, on December 19, 2006, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2006.35, approving the first amendment to the Gladden Farms II Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, on March 6,2018,the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2018.006, approving the second amendment to the Gladden Farms II Specific Plan; and WHEREAS,on April 17,2018,the Mayor and Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2018-036, approving the amended final block plat for Gladden Farms Blocks 28,31- 34, 37, 38, 42 and 43; and WHEREAS, Rick Engineering, on behalf of Crown West Realty, LLC, has applied for approval of a preliminary plat for a 235-lot single-family residential home subdivision within Block 31 & 33 of the amended final block plat for Gladden Farms Blocks 28, 31-34, 37, 38, 42 and 43 located south of the intersection of Moore Road and Mike Etter Blvd.; and WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council, at the regularly scheduled meeting on February 16, 2021, determined that the preliminary plat for Gladden Farms Blocks 31 & 33 should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that the preliminary plat for Gladden Farms Blocks 31 & 33 Lots 1-235, Common Areas A-1 - A-11, B-1 - B-5 is hereby approved. 00074248.DOCX/1Resolution No. 2021-016 - 1 - PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this 16th day of February, 2021.
