HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2021-085 Approving a Final Plat For Gladden Farms Block 35, Lots 1-3 MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2021-085 RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING A FINAL PLAT FOR GLADDEN FARMS BLOCK 35, LOTS 1-3, LOCATED SOUTH OF WEST HANCOCK DRIVE, EAST OF NORTH AMBERWOOD PLACE, AND WEST OF MIDFIELD ROAD WHEREAS, on March 7, 2006, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2006.03, approving a rezoning to create the Gladden Farms II Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, on December 19, 2006, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2006.35, approving the first amendment to the Gladden Farms II Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, on May 16, 2007, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2007-75, approving the final block plat for Gladden Farms Blocks 26 - 43, recorded in the Office of the Pima County Recorder at Book 62, Page 64; and WHEREAS, on June 19, 2012, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2012-039, approving the final plat for Gladden Farms Blocks 35 & 39 Lots 1-205, Blocks A, B, & C & Common Areas "A-1"—"A-17", "B-1"—"B-10" (the "Original Gladden 35/39 Plat"); and WHEREAS, on March 6, 2018, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2018.006, approving the second amendment to the Gladden Farms II Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, on September 4, 2018, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2018.015, approving a final plat for Gladden Farms Block 35, Lots 1-105, Blocks A & B &Common Areas "A-1" - "A-9" & "B-1" - "B-7'; and WHEREAS Richmond American Homes of Arizona has applied for approval of a final plat for Gladden Farms Block 35, Lots 1-3, being a resubdivision of Lots 1-3 of Gladden Farms Block 35, located south of West Hancock Drive, east of North Amberwood Place, and West of Midfield Road; and WHEREAS the Marana Town Council,at the regularly scheduled meeting on June 15, 2021, determined the final plat for Gladden Farms Block 35, Lots 1-3, should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA that the final plat for Gladden Farms Block 35, Lots 1-3 is hereby approved.
