HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 99-091 release of performance bonds for sunflowerMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 99-91 A RESOLIfi'ION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF THE PERFORMANCE BONDS BETWEEN DEL WEBB'S COVENTRY HOMES CONSTRUCTION OF TUCSON, CO., AND TOWN OF MARANA, FOR CONTINENTAL RANCH PARCELS 36-38 & 40 PHASE I; AND, CONTINENTAL RANCH PARCELS 36-38 & 40 PHASE II AND ACCEPTING FOR MAINTENANCE THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS. WHEREAS, the Town has previously accepted Performance Bond No. 159022991 with Del Webb's Coventry Homes Construction of Tucson, Co., and Town of Mararia, recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office as Docket 10917, Page 619 assuring the completion of public improvements; and, Performance Bond No. 159022988 with Del Webb's Coventry Homes Construction of Tucson, Co., and Town of Marana, recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office as Docket 10917, Page 624 assuring the completion of public improvements; and WHEREAS, Del Webb's Coventry Homes Construction of Tucson, Co., has completed the public improvements to the Town standards under the Performance Bond No. 159022991 in the amount of $63,564.00 for on-site improvements for Continental Ranch Parcels 36-38 & 40 Phase I now requests that Lots 1 through 97 and Common Areas A through E be released from said Performance Bond; and, Del Webb's Coventry Homes Construction of Tucson, Co., has completed the public improvements to the Town standards under the Performance Bond No. 159022988 in the amount of $432,900.00 for on-site improvements for Continental Ranch Parcels 36-38 & 40 Phase II now requests that Lots 98 through 208 and Common Areas F through L be released from said Performance Bond. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona authorizing the release of Performance Bond No. 159022991 between Del Webb's Coventry Homes Construction of Tucson, Co., and Town of Marana for Continental Ranch Parcels 36-38 & 40 Phase I, Lots 1 through 97 and Common Areas A through E and accepting for maintenance the following public improvements: Page 1 of 3 Marana, Arizona Resolution No. 99-91 ~ - The Town accepts for maintenance 0.80 miles of the following paved streets and their associated appurtenances. The named streets are as follows: Bdner Drive Dream Maker Drive · Idle Wild Drive Long Creek Drive · Long Creek Place · River View Drive · Sandy Valley Drive · Splendor Drive · Stone Rock Drive authorizing the release of the Performance Bond No. 159022988 between Del Webb's Coventry Homes Construction of Tucson, Co., and Town of Marana for Continental Ranch Parcels 36-38 & 40 Phase II, Lots 98 through 208 and Common Areas F through L and accepting for maintenance the following public improvements: The Town accepts for maintenance 0.7 miles of the following paved streets and their associated appurtenances. The named streets are as follows: · Englewood Drive · Long Creek Drive · Mission Valley Drive Mission View Place · River Rim Place · Sonesta Drive 3. The Town accepts various other public improvements as agreed between the parties.
