RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR TORTOLITA
30, LOTS 1-82 AND COMMON AREAS "A" (NATURAL OPEN SPACE) AND "B"
(ACTIVE OPEN SPACE AND DRAINAGE) LOCATED NORTH OF MOORE ROAD
AND WEST OF TORTOLITA ROAD WITHIN SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 11 SOUTH
AND RANGE 12 EAST
WHEREAS, on October 20, 2020, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance
No. 2020.015, approving a rezoning of approximately 30 acres of land located north of
Moore Road and west of Tortolita Road from R-144 Residential to R-8 Residential; and
WHEREAS Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd., representing the property owner,
D.R. Horton, Inc., has applied for approval of the final plat for Tortolita 30, Lots 1-82 and
Common Areas "A" (Natural Open Space) and "B" (Active Open Space and Drainage)
on property that was the subject of the rezoning addressed by Ordinance No. 2020.015;
and
WHEREAS the Mayor and Town Council, at its October 5, 2021 meeting,
determined that the final plat for Tortolita 30 should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA that the final plat for Tortolita 30 is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana,
Arizona, this 5th day of October 2021.
