HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2021-137 Final Plat for Gladden Farms Block 37 Lots 1-212 and common areas A-1 - A1-4 and B-1 - B-3MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2021-137 RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING A FINAL PLAT FOR GLADDEN FARMS BLOCK 37 LOTS 1 - 212 & COMMON AREAS "A" & -B", LOCATED GENERALLY SOUTH OF WEST MIKE ETTER BOULEVARD, EAST OF MIDFIELD ROAD, AND WEST OF CLARK FARMS BOULEVARD WHEREAS, on March 7, 2006, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2006.03, approving a rezoning to create the Gladden Farms II Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, on December 19, 2006, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2006.35, approving the first amendment to the Gladden Farms II Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, on May 16, 2007, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2007-75, approving the final block plat for Gladden Farms Blocks 26 - 43, recorded in the Pima County Recorder's Office at Book 62, Page 64; and WHEREAS, on March 6, 2018, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2018.006, approving the second amendment to the Gladden Farms II Specific Plan; and WHEREAS, on April 17, 2018, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2018-036, approving the amended final block plat for Gladden Farms Blocks 28, 31- 34, 37, 38, 42 and 43, recorded in the Pima County Recorder's Office at Sequence #20181100137; and WHEREAS, on February 16, 2021, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Resolution No. 2021-017, approving the preliminary plat for Gladden Farms Block 37; and WHEREAS Rick Engineering, on behalf of Lennar Arizona, Inc., has applied for approval of a final plat for a 212 -lot single-family residential home subdivision within Block 37 of the Gladden Farms Blocks 26 - 43 block plat located south of West Mike Etter Boulevard, east of Midfield Road, and west of Clark Farms Boulevard; and WHEREAS the Marana Town Council, at the regularly scheduled meeting on October 5, 2021, determined that the Final Plat for Gladden Farms Block 37 should be approved. 00077477.DOCx /1 Marana Resolution No. 2021-137 - 1 - NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA that the final plat for Gladden Farms Block 37 Lots 1-212 & Common Areas "A" & "B" is hereby approved.
