The Villa2es of Tortolita: Relating to annexation; consideration of the Town of Marana's. desire to annex approximately 440 acres within Pinal County that is a part of the proposed Villages of Tortolita project. DISCUSSION The majority property owner desires to be annexed into the Town of Marana for the purpose of adding 440 acres to the proposed Villages of Tortolita Specific Plan. Pursuant to filing a blank petition with the Pinal County Recorder's Office, this Public Hearing is mandated by State Statutes to be held within thirty days following such filing. All owners of real and personal property within the annexation area have been notified of this hearing, and have been given the opportunity to address the Mayor and Council with their concurrence or objections to this annexation. This property lies within Section 31, Township 10 South, Range 11 East, of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Pinal County, Arizona. ATTACHMENTS Legal description of the proposed annexation, the official map and legal of the annexation area and a map showing the area in context with the proposed Villages ofTortolita Specific Plan. RECOMMENDATION No action is required - Public Hearing.
