RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING A FINAL PLAT FOR SAGUARO
BLOOM "7C", LOTS 378 - 494, COMMON AREAS "A" (DRAINAGE/OPEN SPACE)
AND "B" (PARK), GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE
INTERSECTION OF GARNET RANGE LOOP AND QUEENS WREATH DRIVE
WHEREAS on February 17, 1997, the Mayor and Town Council adopted
Ordinance No. 97.04, approving a rezoning from Zone C (Large Lot Zone) to Zone R-6;
and
WHEREAS on April 6, 2004, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Resolution
2004-015, approving the Final Block Plat for Saguaro Springs; and
WHEREAS on September 17, 2019, the Mayor and Town Council adopted
Resolution No. 2019-089, approving the Final Plat for Saguaro Bloom "7A", Lots 1-202,
Blocks "713" and "7C" (Future Residential) and Common Areas "A" (Drainage/ Open
Space) and "B" (Park); and
WHEREAS Baker and Associates Engineering, Inc., on behalf of D.R. Horton, Inc.,
has applied for approval of a final plat for a 117 -lot single-family residential home
subdivision within Block 7C of the Saguaro Bloom Blocks 7A, Lots 1 -212, Block 7B and
7C plat, generally located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Garnet Range Loop
and Queens Wreath Drive; and
WHEREAS the Marana Town Council, at the regularly scheduled meeting on
January 18, 2022, determined that the final plat for Saguaro Bloom Block 7C should be
approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA that the Final Plat for Saguaro Bloom Block "7C",
Lots 378 - 494, Common Areas "A" (Drainage/Open Space) and "B" (Park) is hereby
approved.
