Hello Cynthia, Hope you are doing well. Unfortunately, Jim and I will not be able to make the meeting of 9/21/21. We appreciate you forwarding our concerns to the Town Council for us. Our concerns are first and foremost the safety for all of our Senior residents. (Our Park is a 55+ Senior Community) We are also concerned with the noise, sound and lighting from this project. We have several RV tenants with large Motorhomes that sit high off the ground that can easily look over a 6" to 8" ft block wall. Plus, we also have several Mobile Home tenants that have decks in there backyards which are about 2 to 3 feet from the ground. This is why we are requesting that the developer build a 10 foot block wall along the entire north perimeter. The Public Hearing notice for this meeting will published on Friday (9/3/21) and mailed to property owners within 300 feet on Thursday (9/2/21). I recommend figuring out precisely what you want in advance of the meeting, forwarding me an email containing your concerns (that I will forward to the Town Council with the staff report), and attending the 9/21/21 meeting. Also attached is Paul’s revised buffer yard exhibit showing the revised wall and landscape improvements. I personally don’t think the Town Council will support your request to have the developer build a 10 foot wall along the entire north perimeter, but you have the right to express your concerns and ask. Hello Cynthia, Hope all is going well with you. My name is Phil Boegel, and I'm Jim Filice's business partner @ Valley of the Sun MH/RV Park. Just wanted to give you an update on the conversation that I had with Paul Oland. Jim and I are concerned with the noise, sound, and safety for all of our Senior residences at the Park. (our Park is a 55+ senior community) I had asked Paul if it was possible to build a 10" ft. block wall on the north end of the property going from east to west. A lot of our RV tenants and guests have tall motorhomes and RV's that sit up high which can easily look over a 6 to 8 ft. wall. Plus, we have our Mobile Home tenants that have decks in there backyards which are about 2 to 3 feet from the ground. Paul reached out to us and proposed that they would build a 8ft. block wall on the west end and a 6 ft. block wall on the east end. As we appreciate these efforts, Jim and I first priority is the safety and well being of our Senior residences. We will be on property late September and will run a string line to get an idea of the proposed heights and get back to you and Paul with our findings. Sincerely, Phil Boegel 408-482-4739
