Council, please select no more than your top 3 topic preferences for the
Marana Citizens’ Forum Spring 2022 session.
Topic Selection
1. Green building best practices: Potential research on how to implement
best practices in Town projects to assure lowered future maintenance
costs and enhance citizen health.
2. Enhance outdoor recreation/tourism experience: Potential research
and development of programs to enhance recreation/tourism
experience in Marana.
3. Promote the Marana Regional Airport: Identify potential programs and
campaigns to promote the Marana Regional Airport.
4. Establish an internship program for Marana teens: Creation of an
internship program in conjunction with local businesses, schools,
government, and non-profit organizations.
5. Community Partnerships: Identify organizations that collaborate with
the Town and that the Town provides any financial support. Determine
how to measure return on investment, performance metrics, and
expectations.
