HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2022-029 Approving the Final Plat for Scenic Estates, Lots 1-4 and Common Area "A" (Open Space)MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2022-029 RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR SCENIC ESTATES, LOTS 1-4 AND COMMON AREA "A" (OPEN SPACE) LOCATED WEST OF SCENIC DRIVE AND SOUTH OF PIMA FARMS ROAD WITHIN SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 12 SOUTH AND RANGE 12 EAST WHEREAS, on November 20, 2001, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance No. 2001.22, approving an annexation of approximately 267 acres of land, known as the Lazy K Annexation, encompassing portions of Sections 29 and 32, Township 12 South, Range 12 East, and translating the Pima County zoning classifications to Town of Marana RR (Resort and Recreation) and R-144 (Residential); and WHEREAS Scenic Estates, LLC has applied for approval of the final plat for Scenic Estates, Lots 1-4 and Common Area "A" (Open Space) located west of Scenic Drive and south of Pima Farms Road on a portion of the property annexed by Ordinance No. 2001.22; and WHEREAS the Mayor and Town Council, at its April 5, 2022 meeting, determined that the final plat for Scenic Estates should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA that the final plat for Scenic Estates is hereby approved.
