A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA,
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90-18, SE'ITING A SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR FLOODPLAIN
MANAGEMENT CODE RBLATED REVIEWS.
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1990, the Marana Town Council adopted Resolution No. 90-18
which established setting a schedule qf fees for floodpln~ management code related reviews; and
~AS, the Town Council deems it necessary to amend Resolution No.90-18 to reduce
the charge for a Floodplain Use Permit Application; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana have determined that the
adoption of such amendment to Resolution No. 90-18 is in the best interest for the citizens of the
Town of Marana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona as follows:
The schedule of fees for floodplain management code related reviews is amended to reflect
the reduction of the charge for a Floodplain Use Permit Application, with additions shown
bold italicized and deletions shown by .~v...... as follows.
Section 1. That the Town Council adopts and sets the following fee schedule for those
Floodplain Management Code reviews not provided for in the Town's present fee schedule.
These fees are to be paid in advance and are not refundable.
Section 2.
Floodplain Use Permit Application-

Section 3. Floodplain M~t Code appeals, variances and amendments ._ $200.00.
Section 4. In addition to the fees set forth above, additional fees for review of Floodplain
Management Code, Reports, Plans and studies including but not limited to Hydrologic,
hydraulic, floodplain, erosion, sedimentation, geomorphie analysis, flood control, soils
investigation, detention/retention systems, setback and hazard areas shall be at $70.00 per
hour with a three (3) hour minimum.

Section $. Whereas, the immediate operation of this Resolution is necessm7 for the
preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the Town of Marana, Arizona, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and aider its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marano. Arizona, this
