RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING A FINAL PLAT FOR SOLANA
CANYON, LOTS 1-4 AND COMMON AREA "A" (PRIVATE STREET), GENERALLY
LOCATED NORTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF SUNSET GALLERY PLACE
AND SUNSET GALLERY DRIVE WITHIN SECTION 14,TOWNSHIP 11 SOUTH AND
RANGE 12 EAST
WHEREAS, on May 31, 1989, the Mayor and Town Council adopted Ordinance
No. 89.22, approving the Dove Mountain Specific Plan (then known as the Tortolita
Mountain Properties Specific Plan) which has been amended from time to time by
ordinance; and
WHEREAS, on December 15, 2009, the Mayor and Town Council adopted
Resolution No. 2009-198, approving the Final Plat for The Gallery Parcel 5, Lots 1-14,
Block A, & Common Areas "A", "B", "C-1"-"C-3" ("The Gallery Parcel 5 Final Plat");
and
WHEREAS Baker & Associates, Inc., representing the property owner, has
applied for approval of a final plat for Solana Canyon, Lots 1-4 and Common Area "A"
(Private Street), being a resubdivision of Block A of The Gallery Parcel 5 Final Plat,
generally located northeast of the intersection of Sunset Gallery Place and Sunset
Gallery Drive within Section 14, Township 11 South and Range 12 East; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council, at its June 20, 2023 meeting,
determined that the final plat for Solana Canyon, Lots 1-4 and Common Area "A"
should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town
of Marana, Arizona that that the final plat for Solana Canyon, Lots 1-4 and Common
Area "A" is hereby approved.
