PUBLIC OUTREACH SUMMARY
Public Comments and Responses
•Traffic safety on westbound Ina Road as it narrows to 2 lanes west of the
Silverbell Road intersection is a concern
•Response:
•The 2-lane segment of Ina Road is owned by Pima County and not
controlled by the Town of Marana. The Town has contacted Pima County to
discuss this issue.
•This project improves traffic safety on Ina by removing 1 access point near
the intersection and converting the second access to an exit only
•Are apartments appropriate here?
•Response:
•Apartments have always been allowed on these properties under the
previous NC Neighborhood Commercial and current VC Village Commercial
Zones
