Question: • Should new regional parks be Developer -driven projects or should the Town assume design and development responsibility for these large-scale projects? • What is the Council's vision for timing of projects relative to available cash flow, for example when should a park be constructed relative to collection of impact fees? Example - Mandrina Community Park Reasons to keep these projects as Town CIP Park projects: 1. The Town has an experienced CIP Division that includes design and construction staff including Project Managers and Inspectors. 2. Risk of developing a park with a Developer that we can not afford to build. 3. If done in-house, the Town can control the destiny if it needs to be larger or scope needs changed as the Development is built out. 5 Year CIP Program Parks Projed Project NNW Talc Fund Daeatp" Funa M Req-Ong Department El Rio ReceatwnArea Per %l,at 491,195 Pat: II Ria Di:c Gott 453.098 Pak; II Ria y+ron 1.310,000 Pak; 1.421.0C33 Pak: Menalro COTTllflrt Pori 7.218.766 Pak: ARero 91D091 Cowngngy Pent.
