The Town of Marana is continuing to grow quickly. which means more people are going to be using its bike paths and roads in the area.

TRANSPORTATION MASTER PLAN ACCEPTING COMMENTS THROUGH AUG 16
Public Feedback on the Draft TMP
Concern over existing congestion issues at 1-10
interchanges and support for reconstruction
✓ TMP validated need for several interchange
improvements including grade -separation over
railroad
Support for multimodal improvements, but desire
to see additional trails and shared use paths
✓ TMP includes a suite of multimodal improvements
Desire for a more robust public transit service
✓ TMP recommends creating a pilot to test/implement
microtransit service
✓ As Marana continues to grow, the TMP recommends
developing a Transit Master Plan
Concern over the large number of projects and
funding availability
✓ TMP's short-term improvements focus on priority
needs
✓ Other recommendations should be evaluated as
funding and development opportunities arise
