Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Marana
Town Council and to the general public that the Town Council will hold a meeting open
to the public beginning on February 19, 2025, at or after 3:00 PM, and continuing through
Friday, February 21, 2025, at approximately 2:00 PM, traveling from Marana to
Chandler, AZ, for hotel accommodations and Council Working Group Sessions.
Notice is also given of the possibility of a quorum of Marana Town Council members
during transportation to and from locations during the retreat and meals throughout the
retreat.
Persons who wish to attend the meeting/retreat must contact the Town Clerk at
(520)382-1999 as early as possible, and no later than 24 hours before the meeting, to make
appropriate arrangements. Persons attending the meeting/retreat will be responsible for
their own transportation, meals, and accommodations.
ACTION MAY BE TAKEN BY THE COUNCIL ON ANY ITEM LISTED ON THIS
AGENDA. Revisions to the agenda can occur up to 24 hours prior to the meeting.
Revised agenda items appear in italics.
This Notice and Agenda Posted no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting, at the
Marana Municipal Complex, 11555 W. Civic Center Drive, the Marana Operations
Center, 5100 W. Ina Road, and at www.maranaaz.gov under Agendas and Minutes.
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING/RETREAT
Times are approximate and subject to change. All working meeting sessions and
working meals for the Council Retreat will occur at the Crowne Plaza Resort in the
assigned meeting room. Council and Staff will be on their own for traveling to and
from the Crowne Plaza Resort and no Council discussion or action will occur while
traveling. A presentation, discussion, and possible direction from Council may occur
for any item on this agenda.
