HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 82-001 Reconveyance of Robert and Patricia Honea property WHEREAS on April 5, 1980, ROBERT L. HGNEA and PATRICIA J. HONEA deeded certain real property to the Town of Marana in consideration of the sum of ONE DOLLAR. ($1.00), a copy of the legal description of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked as Exhibit "A'!; and WHEREAS the purpose of said conveyance was deemed to be a gift to the Town of Marana by ROBER~ L. HONEA and PATRICIA J. HONEA for the express purpose of providing the Town with real property for the construction of a Levee thereon by the Town for the good of the Town; and WHEREAS only a minimal portion of Exhibit "A" was utilized by the Town in accordance with the express intent of the Grantors; and ~ . ~ WHEREAS that portion of the property which was not utilized by the Town (the legal description of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked as Exhibit "B") is no longer needed by the Town for the specific purposes for which it was conveyed to the Town; and. WHEREAS the Grantors RGBERT L. HONEA and PATRICIA J. HGNEA now desire the Town to return that unused portion as set forth in Exhibit "B" to them;- ~ BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that for the consideration of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) and other valuable considerations, 'the Town of Marana shall reconvey to ROBERT L. HONEA and PATRICIA J. HONEA, husband and wife, as joint tenants with rights of survivorship, tha~real property more specifically set for. th in Exhibit "B" herein.
