Indoor water conservation is most effectively achieved in new con-
struction; and
the adoption of plumbing codes requiring water saving s~nd flow re-
ducing devices in new residential construction will preserve lim-
ited groundwater reSOurceS and prolong the life of public water
and wastewater facilities~ thereby maw~m~ zing existing water and
wastewater capacity; and
the~ Cost to the'ibuilder of new~water conservation fixtures is no
more than the cost of standard fixtures;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of .Mararia that:
Section 1. all~ew residential construction in Pima County, 'The City
of Tucson%~ the City of South Tucson, the Town of Marana and the Town
of Oro. Vs~ey,should be fitted'with water conservation fixtures in-
cludin~,, bud,not limited to: .. '
