A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA APPOINTING AN ELECTION BOARD AND TALLY BOARD
FOR THE MARCH 21, 1989 PRIMARY ELECTION
WHEREAS A.R.S. Section 16-531 requires the Town Council
to appoint, without consideration for political party, a minimum
of three election workers for each polling place consisting of at
least one Inspector and two Judges: and
WHEREAS A.R.S. Section 16-531 requires the Town Council
to appoint a Tally Board for the specific purpose of tallying the
ballots on the closing of polls, which Board must consist of at
least one Inspector and two Judges; and
WHEREAS the Marana Town Council has set March 21, 1989
as the date for the primary election for the Town of Marana to
fill vacancies on the Marana Town Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of
the Town of Marana, Arizona as follows:

1. That GAYNEL ROBINSON is hereby appointed as the
Inspector for the March 21, 1989 Marana primary
who shall also be the Inspector of the Tally Board.
2. That ELISA NORIEGA and IVADELL WHITE are hereby
who shall also be
appointed as Judges of the Election Board,
appointed as Judges for the Tally Board.
3. That the compensation of each of the foregoing
officers is fixed at the sum of S98.00 per day for the Inspector,
and S75.00 per day for the Judges.
4. If any member should fail to appear and serve, the
Marana Town Clerk shall aDpoint a qualified substitute.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town
of Marana, Arizona this 21st day of February , 1989.
