HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 89-025 relating to burning or desecrating the American flag RESOLUTION NO. 89-25 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA RELATING TO THE AMERICAN FLAG WHEREAS, freedom throughout the world; and WHEREAS, the American flag represents traditions of the United States of America; and WHEREAS, thousands of American men their blood and died to uphold the values the American flag is a symbol of democracy and the finest and women have shed and traditions for which the American flag stands; and WHEREAS, the recent decision of the United States Supreme Court is an insult to American servicemen and servicewomen who have served and in some cases died for their country. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Marana as follows: of Mararia world. 1.
