HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 89-026 relating to municipalize fire suppression and emergency medical services RESOLUTION NO. 89-26 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA EXPRESSING ITS DESIRE TO MUNICIPALIZE FIRE SUPPRESSION AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WHEREAS, contributed on an Volunteer Fire corporation; and WHEREAS, the Town of Marana has, for a number of years, annual basis to the operations of the Marana Department, Inc., a non-profit Arizona the Town Council has reviewed various alternatives for continued fire suppression and emergency medical services to the residents of the Town of Marana; and WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Town Council to provide for the citizens of the Town of Marana fire suppression services and emergency medical services as a part of the services provided by the Town to its residents. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that it is the intention of the Mararia Town Council to take all steps necessary to form a volunteer fire department as a formal part of the Town government as soon as it is financially feasible.
