A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA,
SETTING A SCHEDULE OF USER FEES AND RELATED REQUIREMENTS FOR
MARANA PARK AND RECREATION AREAS.
WHEREAS the Town of Marana will take over and operate Marana
Park as e Park and Recreation Area and in the future may operate
other park and recreation areas, and
WHEREAS the Town of Marana will incur expenses related to
such Park and Recreation Areas
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Town Council
Of the Town of Marana, Arizona that the Town Council adopts and
sets the following fee schedule and related requirements for
Marana Park and Recreation Areas.

RELATED REQUIREMENTS:
A. SPECIAL EVENTS shall require a letter of agreement and sea-
sonal or long term use shall require a cooperative utilization
agreement and license. Both shall include:
1. An indemnification provision satisfactory to the Town
Attorney.
2. A certificate of insurance providing commercial general
liability coverage in the amount of $1,000,000 combined single
limit Bodily Injury and Property Damage Or $1,000,000 Bodily
Injury, $1,000,000 Property Damage. Coverage must include Prem-
ises/Operations, Independent Contractors, Products/Completed
Operations and Contractual Liability. Town of Marana is to be
named as additional insured for all operations performed within
the scope of the agreement.
3. Such other provisions deemed necessary by the Town
Manager including, but not limited to, fees and payment, term,
finanacial inspection, nonassignment, ownership, staffing, re-
pairs, maintenance and operation, sanitation, inspection, liens,
nonwaiver, notices, nonwarranty, termination, traffic and securi-
ty.
OTHER ACTIVITIES OR PROGRAMS
The Town Manager shall establish procedures, fees, rules and
guidelines for other activities and programs in park and recrea-
tion areas on an as needed basis and shall report same to the
Town Council.
C. The Town Manager shall' report monthly to the Town Council on
the operation of the park and recreation area including com-
plaints, unresolved issues, the need for additional Town Council
action, the level of activity and revenues.
