RESOLUTION NO. 92-14
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA
DECLARING AND ADOPTING THE RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL REFERENDUM
ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 7, 1992;
AND ORDERING THE RECORDING OF SUCH RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, A.R.S. Section 16-642 requires the Town Council to
canvass an election not less than six days nor more than fifteen
days following an election; and
WHEREAS, a special election was held by the Town of Marand on
April 7, 1992, to put before the voters of the Town the "Ironwood
Specific Plan" Referendum; and
WHEREAS, the election returns have been presented to and have
been canvassed by the Town Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Town Council
of the Town of Marand, Arizona, as follows:
1. That the Canvass of Special Referendum Election of April
7, 1992, attached hereto, is hereby adopted as the official canvass
of Town of Marand Special Referendum Election of April 7, 1992.
2. A certified permanent copy of this official canvass shall
be filed with the Marand Town Clerk, and shall be maintained and
preserved as a permanent public record pursuant to A.R.S. Section
16-646(C).
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Marand,
Arizona, this 21st day of April, 1992.
