RESOLUTION 93-03
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA, PROVIDING NOTICE 'OF THE REGULAR PRIMARY ELECTION;
ESTABLISHING POLLING PLACES AND VOTING DISTRICTS AND THE TIMES
THAT SUCH POLLS WILL BE OPEN.
WHEREAS, it is provided by law for the holding of a Primary
Election; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council has by resolution called a Pri-
mar~ Election to be held on March 9, 1993.
NOW, THEREFOP~E, BE IT RESOL~-ED by the Mayor and Council of the
Town of Mararia, as follows:
Section 1:
Designation o__f Election Date
That the Town Primary Election be held on Tuesday
March 9, 1993 for the purpose of nominating
candidates for the offices of Council Member. Any
candidate receiving a majority of all of the votes
cast at the Primary Election will be declared elected
without ru~ning at the General Munib~pal Election.
Section 2:
Continuation Local Alternative ExDenditure Limit
As authorized by Arizona Revised Statutes a proposed
continuation of the Alternative Local Expenditure
Li~tation to govern the Town of Marana Budget from
fiscal year 93-94 to 96-97 be designated as Question
200 and placed on the ballot for voters approval.
Section 3:
~ Places and Votin~ Districts
e Prim~-~lection will be held at the follow-
ing locations: voting Area #1 - Ina Road Water
Pollution Control Facility, 7101 N. Casa Grande High
way, Tucson, AZ., Precinct 14 and 275; Voting Area
#__2 - Marana Junior High, 11279 W. Grier Rd., Marana,
AZ., Precinct 6; Voting Area 43 - DeGrazia Elemen
tary School, 5051 W. Overton Rd., Tucson, AZ.,
Precinct 223 and 262; Vot__t__i~_~ Area # 5 - Marana High
School, 12000 W. E~igh Road, Tucson, AZ., Precinct
~222 The Polls shall be open from 6:00 A.M. until
7:00 P.M.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana,
Arizona, this 2nd day of February, 1993.
