W/4EREAS, Resolutions 88.14, 89.09 and 93-11 were adopted June 21, 1988, March 7, 1989 and April 6, 1993, respectively, and the Town Council now wishes to rescind same; and W]:m-P..EAS, the Town of Mamna will experience growth relating to residential and commercial developmenU and W'/-rl;2~.AS, the Town of Marana will incur expenses related to development rehted plan reviews; and ~S, the Town Development Code does not fully set development review fees. NOW, THJEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Mararia, Arizona: Section 1. That Resolution Nos. 88-14, 89.09 and 93.11 are hereby rescinded. Section 2. That the Town Council adopts and sets the following fee schedule for the various development related reviews: THEqE FEES ARE TO BE PAID IN ADVANCE AND ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. REVIEW OF OTHER REPORTS Fees for review of other miscellaneous reports, such as geotechnical, traffic, and environmental impact shall be at $70.00 per hour with a three (3) hour minimum. REVIEW LANDSCAPE PLANS Base Fee $150.00 Plus $50.00 per sheet* *Excluding cover sheet, except in the case of one-sheet plans. One-sheet plans shall be assessed at the base fee, plus one plan sheet. ROADWAY IMPRO~ PLAN RNVI~ Base Fee Plus $350.00 $85.00 per plan sheet (excluding cover sheets) BRIDGE PLAN REVIEW Review of any structural p~ns, specifications, and calculation such as bridges, culverts, drop slxuctures, e~c., shall be subject to fees covering independent consultant review time, or a percentage of estimated construction costs, per following table, as determined necessary and appropriate by the Town Engineer. R SYSTEM PLAN REVIEW Base Fee $350.00 Plus* $85.00 per plan sheet *Excluding cover sheet, except in the case of one-sheet plans. One-sheet plans shall be assessed at the base fee, plus one plan sheet. PUBLIC/SEMI-PUBLIC POOL PLAN REVIEW Base Fee Plus $200.00 $70.00 per hour (3 hour minimum) Review of any structural plans, specifications, and calculations such as po~Is, retaining walls, etc., shall be subject to additional fees covering independent consultant review time as determined necessary and appropriate by the Town Engineer. SEWER IMPROVEMENTPLANREVIEW Base Fee $350.00 Plus* $85.00 per plan sheet *Excluding cover sheet, except in the case of one-sheet plans. One-sheet plans shall be assessed at the base fee, plus one plan sheet. REVIEW OF PLANS FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY Base Fee $450.00 Plus* $85.00 pex plan sheet *Excluding cover sheet. Review of any structural plans, specifications, and calculations such as buildings, foundations, etc., shall be subject to additional fees covering independent consultant review time as determined necessary and appropriate by the Town Engineer. In addition to the foregoing fees; in the event that the Town of Marana incurs actual costs, including but not limited to consulting fees, which exceed 75 % of those fees collected pursuant to schedules as set forth herein, then and in that event the applicant shall be assessed all such additional fees, and any permits issued or approvals given by the Town shall be contingent upon all excess costs being paid by the applicant prior to the issuance of said permit or approval of said plan. Section 4. The above fee schedule (excluding inspections) is considered adequate to cover costs incurred for reviews of the initial submittal, and one resubmittal of the respective plans. If subsequent resubmittals are required to obtain Town approval of said plans, then fees for each subsequent resubmittal shall be assessed at the rate of 50% of the fees listed above.
