HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 93-025 establishing a user fee schedule for the parks and recreation centerRF~OLUTION NO. 93-25 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, ESTABLISBING A SCHEDULE OF USER FFI:-S AND ItRLATED REQUIREMENTS FOR MARANA PARK AND RECREATION CENTER W'/-rI~.REA$ the Mararia Town Council oversees and controls the development and operation of the Mararia Park and Recreation Center and all facilities located thereon; and WHEREAS the Mararia Town Council has the authority to establish new user fees and requirements for the use of park facilities, from time to time; and WI~REAS the Mararia Town Council hereby repeals Resolution No. 9146, new Marana Park and Recreation Center fees and use requirements set forth herein are effective May 4, 1993. BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Mararia, Arizona that the following fee schedule and related requirements for use of the Mararia Park and Recreation Center are hereby established and adopted: MARANA PARK AND RECREATION CENTER SCHEDULE OF FEES Ball field Reservations $ 7.00/hour (2 hr. minimum $ 3.00 for each additional hour) With Lights $ 8.00 Special Interest Classes fee varies Swimming Pool (daily rates) Adult (18+) Teen (13-17) Chad (0-12) Baby Pool 1.50 1.oo 0,50 Swimming Pool--Family Night (fee per family) $2.00 Swimming Pool--Rental Private Party-Residents Private Party-Non-residents $50.00 + life guards $75.00 + life guards ,! 2. A certificate of insurance providing commercial general liability coverage in the amount of $1,000,000 combined single limit bodily injury and property damage or $1,000,000 bodily injury and $I,000,000 property damage. 3. Such other provisions deemed necessary by the Town Manager including, but not limited to, fees and payment, term, financial inspection, nonassignment, ownership, staffing, repairs, maintenance and operation, sanitation, inspection, liens, nonwaiver, notices, nonwarranty, termination, traffic and security. B. OTHER ACTIV1TI~ OR PROGRAMS: The Town Manager shall establish procedures, fees, rules and guidelines for other activities and programs in park and recreations areas on an as needed basis and shall report same to Town Council. C. The Town Manager shall report to the Town Council on the operation of the park and recreation area including complaints, unresolved issues, the need for additional Town Council action, and the level of activity and revenues. this PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, day of May, 1993.
