RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN OF MARANA TO ABANDON CERTAIN CITY
PROPERTY WHICH WAS TO BE DEVELOPED INTO THE RECORDED PLAT FOR
WHITE FARM SUBDIVISION
~j' WHEREAS, a plat titled "White Farms" was recorded on October 6, 1986, at Book 40,
&/ Page 24, contemplating construction of a subdivision to be known as "White Farms"; and

WHEREAS, the development was never begun, assurances were never given, and the
project has been abandoned; and
WHEREAS, a potion of the development has been purchased by an individual known as
Joe Parsons, who intends to use the property for a different purpose; and
WHE...~S, the plat may have transferred certain property to the Town of Marana as
streets, alleys, parks, drainage ways, and other properties; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the property have not desire to develop the property pursuant
to the development plan, and the Town has not accepted the dedicated areas for maintenance and
does not desire to do so.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Marana,
Arizona, that it shall abandon any property interest it may have within the White Farms
subdivision, recorded at Book 40, Page 24 in the Office of the Pima County Recorder. This
abandonment is intended to abandon only those areas which were not the property of the Town
prior to the recording of the plat, and became the property of the Town only upon the
recordation of the plat for White Farms subdivision. Consequently, the Town of Marana hereby
abandons all streets, alleys, parks, drainage ways and any other interest conveyed to the Town
of Marana by reason of the plat for White Farms subdivision. The Mayor and Town Clerk are
authorized and directed to sign an attest for and on behalf of the Town of Marana, any necessary
documents in order to effectuate these abandonments.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona, on December 21, 1993.
