A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA, ABANDONING PORTIONS OF WADE ROAD (SECTIONS 27 AND 28) WHICH
ARE NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR TOWN USE.
WHEREAS, an application for abandonment of portions of Wade Road (Sections 27 and 28)
has been submitted to the Town by an abutting land owner; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have the authority pursuant to A.R.S. § 28-1902 to
abandon right-of-ways which are no longer necessary; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Mayor and Council that those portions of Wade
Road are no longer necessary to the Town due to the realignment of Wade Road, notice of the
intended abandonment has been posted on the property and published in accordance with A.R.S.
§28-1902, and it being determined that the land is of little value due to its location and degree of
fragmentation.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona that the
Town of Marana abandon those portions of Wade Road (Sections 27 and 28) that are no longer
necessary to the Town, and the Mayor is directed to sign Quit Claim Deeds, deeding the property
to the abutting land owners who are Ranch Holdings L.L.C., Northwest Fire District, and Bettina
V. Steinreid Trust.

MARANA (whose mailing address is 13251 N. Lon Adams Road, Mararia, Arizona, 85653),
hereby quit-claim to BEI'IINA V. STEINFELD TRUST, all right, tide or interest in the
following property situated in Pima County, Arizona:
That portion of the southeast one-quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 28, Township 12 South,
Range 12 East, Gila and Salt River Meridian, Pima County, Arizona, described as
follows:
Commencing at the southeast comer of said Section 28;
Thence North 00° 33' 36" West, along the east line of said Section 28, a distance of
806.58 feet to the Point of Beginning and the arc of a non-tangent curve, concave to the
east, a radial line of said curve through said point having a bearing of South 73° 15' 45"
East away from the radius point, said point being on the northwestern right-of-way Line
of Wade Road as realigned by the plat map of Continental Ranch Parch 50, Lots 1
through 46, as recorded in Book 42 of Maps and Plats at Page 54, Pima County.
Recorder's Office, Pima County, Arizona;
Thence southerly, along said right-of-way line, along the arc of said curve, to the left,
having a radius of 995.00 feet and a central angle of 07° 20' 11" for an arch distance
of 127.40 feet to a non-tangent line, said line being 30.00 feet west of and parallel with
the east line of Section 28 and the west tight-of-way line of Wade Road as recorded in
Book 2, of Pima County Road Maps at Page 93, having a radial bearing of South 80°
35' 55" East away from the radius point;
Thence North 00° 33' 36" West, along said parallel line, a distance of 1549.27 feet to
a point on the arc of a non-tangent curve, concave to the northeast, a radial line of said
curve through said point having a bearing of South 53° 59' 11" West to the radius point,
said point being on the southwest right-of-way line, of Silverbell Road;
Thence southeasterly, along said right-of-way line, along the arc of said curve, to the
left, having a radius of 4,040.00 feet and a central angie of 130° 43' 37" for an arc
distance of 51.27 feet to a non-tangent line, said line being the east line of sa/d Section
28;
Thence South 00° 33' 36" F:n~t, along said east line, a distance of 1,383.97 feet to the
Point of Beginning;
