A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA, APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR SUNSET RANCH ESTATES.
WHEREAS, Scenic Farms Development Parmership, L.L.C. is the beneficial owner of
approximately 34.58 acres of land South of Pima Farms Road and East of Scenic Drive, known
as Sunset Ranch Estates (Lots 1-30), located within the boundaries of the Town of Mararia; and
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plat for this development has previously been approved by
this Council and the developer has applied to the Town of Mararia for approval of the Final Plat
of said Parcel; and
WHEREAS, the Final Plat was presented to the Mararia Planning Commission on
February 22, 1995 and the Planning Commission recommended conditional approval of the Final
Plat; and
WHEREAS, the Mararm Town Council heard from the representative of the owner, staff,
and members of the public at the Regular Town Council Meeting held March 7, 1995 and has
determined that the Final Plat for Sunset Ranch Estates, Lots 1-30 should be approved.
BE 1T RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona that the Final
Plat for Sunset Ranch Estates (Lots 1-30) is approved, upon the following conditions:
1. A native plant permit must be obtained prior to issuance of a grading permit.
An executed copy of the financial Assurance Agreement must be submitted to the
Planning Director prior to recordation of the Final Plat.
A copy of the agreement between the Town, the Tucson Water Department and the
Developer must be submitted to the Planning Director.
Any development shall comply with the Marana Native Plant Ordinance and other
Marana Ordinances.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona,
this 7th day of March, 1995.
