A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA, APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR CONTINENTAL RANCH PARCEL 63A,
SUBMITTED BY ARIZONA PAVILLION LLC, FOR A 4-LOT COMMERCIAL
SUBDiVISION ON 8.93 ACRES LOCATED ON PARCEL 63A WITHIN THE
CONTINENTAL RANCH SPECIFIC PLAN AND MORE SPECIFICALLY ON THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF CORTARO ROAD AND ARIZONA PAVILION ROAD IN A
PORTION OF THE SOUTHWEST ¼ OF SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 12 SOUTH, RANGE 12
EAST.
WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved and adopted the specific plan for the area
known as Continental Ranch on April 5, 1988 (Ordinance 88.09), located within the corporate
boundaries of the Town of Marana, Arizona; and
WHEREAS, Arizona Pavilion LLC is the owner of property located on the northwest
comer of Cortaro Road and Arizona Pavilion Road more particularly within a portion of the
southwest ~A of Section 26, Township 12 South, Range 12 East known as Parcel 63A of the
Continental Ranch Specific Plan and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a final
plat for a 4-lot commemial subdivision on 8.93 acres, including lots 1 through 4 and more
particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this references
(Exhibit "A"); and
WHEREAS, the final plat was presented to the Marana Planning Commission on
December 19, 2001, and the Planning Commission recommended unanimously that the Town
Council approve the final plat; and
WHEREAS, the final plat has been placed on the Consent Agenda for action by the
Marana Town Council at the regular Town Council meeting held January 15, 2002, and has
determined that the Parcel 63A final plat submitted by Arizona Pavilion LLC is in the best
interest of the Town and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona, that Continental Ranch Parcel 63A, submitted by Arizona Pavillion LLC for a
4-lot commercial subdivision on 8.93 acres of property known as Continental Ranch Parcel 63A
located within the Continental Ranch Specific Plan area more specifically on the northwest
corner of Cortaro Road and Arizona Pavilions Road in a portion of the southwest ¼ of Section
26, Township 12 South, Range 12E, is hereby approved.
