HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2002-019 preliminary plat for butterfly mountainMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2002-19 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR BUTTERFLY MOUNTAIN, SUBMITTED BY GEORGE CONSTANTINI, FOR A 28-LOT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOME SUBDIVISION ON 103 ACRES LOCATED NORTH OF MOORE ROAD AND EAST OF CAMINO DE OESTE WITHIN A PORTION OF SECTION 30, TOWNSHIP 11 SOUTH, RANGE 13 EAST. WHEREAS, this Preliminary Plat was heard by Marana Planning and Zoning Commission January 30, 2002, and a recommendation for approval was forwarded to Town Council; and WHEREAS, this project has significant vegetation considered important for the Cactus Ferruginous Pygmy Owl and this owner has entered in consultations with U.S. Fish and Wildlife to limit grading on each lot; and . WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the request against the requirements of the Land Development Code and finds that, with the incorporation of the following conditions of approval all development regulations are adhered to with this Preliminary Plat; and WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has heard from the representative(s) of the owners, staff, and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting, March 5, 2002, and has determined that the Preliminary Plat for Butterfly Mountain should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that the Preliminary Plat for Butterfly Mountain, submitted by George Constantini for a 28-1ot single family detached home subdivision on 103.77acres located north of Moore Road and east of Camino de Oeste in a portion of Section 30, Township 11 South, Range 13 East is hereby approved with the following conditions: Appropriate permits must be obtained from U.S. Fish and Wildlife consultations prior to ~ading, approval of a Native Plant Permit, or consideration of a Final Plat. Prior to any disturbance of any kind, instrument mapping, systematic surface artifact collecting and. analysis to be performed by a qualified Archaeological Service and a report generated which must be approved by the State Museum. The "T" turnaround of Butterfly Mountain Boulevard at Moore Road on the easterly side must conform to adopted Subdivision Standards. Prior to submission of final plat correct duplication of General Notes. 34arana ResolutionNo. 2002-19 Page 1 of 2 Label the Conservation Easements and the common areas on the final plat. Label the private road as a separate lettered lot to be dedicated to the Homeowners Association. this 5~t' day of March, 2002.
